The Ninigret Group has completed the acquisition of the Shops at Lakeside Village, a 16,750 square-foot retail center located in Pooler, GA. Pooler has been one of the Savannah MSA’s most active markets for new development and retail leasing as the port city has undergone robust economic growth. The submarket commands a higher price point than the metro area for retail tenants and has attracted national names such as Amazon and Costco.
Located at the at the intersection of Galloway Drive and Pooler Parkway, just off US I-16, the Shops at Lakeside sits in the heart of the action. The property enjoys comfortable vehicular access at a recently signalized intersection with each individual suite offering appealing glass storefronts and high ceilings. The diverse and exciting tenant mix at Shops at Lakeside include national tenants such as Dunkin’, Jersey Mikes, Fleet Feet, AT&T and Coldwell Banker, and local tenants such as Lotus Day Spa and a new brewery and restaurant concept called Mad Maggie’s.
This transaction follows Ninigret’s first acquisition in Savannah, a 5-building industrial portfolio located at the intersection of Highway 80 and Chatham Parkway. The 51,000 square foot business park sits only 2 miles from the Savannah Port and is centrally located between I-95 and I-16. The property is fully occupied, and several tenants have renewed and extended their leases since closing. Both deals reflect the Ninigret Group’s belief in the bright future and economic growth of the Savannah MSA.
