Ninigret Park

Ninigret Park, a major commercial center, plays a crucial role in Salt Lake City’s position as a leading regional distribution hub for the mountain and western states. Ninigret Tech Park

Ninigret Tech Park

In March 2002, Ninigret announced a significant expansion of Ninigret Park, adding an adjacent 405 acres. This project became Utah’s 4th largest commercial development and the largest of its kind in 30 years. The expansion area was previously environmentally impaired, having served as tailing ponds for Harshaw Chemical and Engelhard Corporation. Through successful cooperation between state regulatory agencies and private industry, Ninigret Construction Company transformed this land into a productive new development.

Anticipating the extension of State Route 193, Ninigret acquired 156 acres of farmland adjacent to the highway alignment. Working with the City of Syracuse, Ninigret rezoned the property and established an RDA to enhance project economics. Ninigret North includes two phases: Phase I (approximately 75 acres) features industrially-zoned, rail-served property. Phase II (81 acres) includes mixed-use development, single-family homes, a charter school, and commercial retail lots along Route 193. Major national companies like US Cold Storage and Pacific Steele have already built state-of-the-art distribution facilities within Phase I, serving the expanding local market demand.

The construction arm of the Ninigret Group, Ninigret Construction Company, L.C. (NCC), was developed out of the need to effectively manage the complex remediation and infrastructure development of the 405-acre park expansion known as Ninigret Technology Park. Over the years, the company has grown into a full-scale excavation, site development, and remedial contractor with a vast array of equipment resources necessary to manage large excavation tasks and soil management issues.
